“Johann Sebastian Bach’s work has often been subjected to the art of transcription and he himself was a master in the field. He is the central figure of this program composed entirely of transcriptions, such as the original transcriptions for organ and harpsichord of legendary conductor Leopold Stokowski and Austrian composer Arnold Schoenberg.”
